The Dragon Friends Quilt uses both the large friendly dragons panel and the circle faces blocks panel. All inner borders surrounding the panel are made with large squares, small squares and sashing rectangles. Pre-washing fabrics is NOT recommended for this quilt project!The kit contains a purchased copy of the Dragon Friends quilt pattern/instructions designed by Jason Yenter for In The Beginning Fabrics along with enough fabric to complete the quilt top and edge binding as pictured. Backing fabric and batting will need to be purchased separately.The overall finished size of this quilt as pictured is 70.5″ x 92.5″.This kit includes all the fabrics required for the quilt top and binding as shown in the first picture excluding the backing. There are no substituted fabrics in this kit. Pictures 2 thru 14 show the pattern cover and all fabrics included in the kit. About 8-1/2 yards of fabric is included with the kit along with the color pattern.The pattern recommends 6 yards of fabric (vertical seams) for your backing assuming a 42″ width along with an 79″ x 101″ piece of batting. Additional fabric could be needed if using a directional print or fabric design matching. BACKING FABRIC AND BATTING ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THIS KIT. You can purchase coordinating fabric from the collection for your backing if you desire, and it will be shipped with your kit.
