Description Revolution - RT-PTA-BSSW-531A PTA/JTA/JUA Aggregate Tippler Wagons in British Steel Blue and Orange Livery 5 (outer) Pack A - N Gauge British Steel Orange and Blue (Outer) 5-pack as introduced from 1989 and included 2 outer wagons, one of which has a battery operated tail light: Wagon details: Outer BSSW26666 and BSSW26674 (Full blue livery) Inner BSSW26635, BSSW26566 and BSSW26671 Redpath-Dorman-Long built PTA box wagons for iron ore traffic in the 1970s. With the decline of iron ore traffic in the early 1980s some of the wagons were purchased by leasing companies for use in limestone aggregate traffic. Foster Yeoman and ARC used fleets of these box wagons for aggregate traffic from the Somerset quarries. The PTAs were built as a mix of outer wagons with rotary couplings and fixed couplings and inners. In the early-mid 2000s VTG acquired the ex-Procor/CAIB fleet and repainted some of the JUAs into VTG grey. The VTG grey JUAs frequently ran with a mixture of faded Yeoman livery PTA/JUAs.
